CERT (San Diego)

San Diego County Fire Authority CERT – Southern Division~ 
 Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) trains and educates their neighbors to be prepared for disasters.  Citizens are trained in basic skills such as: Fire Safety, Light Search & Rescue and First Aid in order to help their families, neighbors, and their communities after a disaster until professional help arrives. 

The SDCFA CERT – So. Division Program supports the Operations Section of The San Diego County Fire Authority – Southern Division under the supervision of CAL FIRE Division Chief Gary Croucher and is a completely volunteer run Program.  The CERT Program serves the  communities of: Barrett Junction, Boulevard, Campo, Carveacre, Deerhorn Valley, Dehesa, Descanso, Dulzura, Guatay, Harbison Canyon, Jacumba, Jamul, Japatul Valley, Lake Morena, Mt. Empire, Mt. Laguna, Otay, Pine Valley, Potrero and Tecate.
